A home town native and second-generation educator who is proud to announce being employed with Northampton County Schools for 21 years. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Elizabeth City State University. I was eager to accept a position as a second-grade teacher at Gaston Elementary school.  I have a passion and love for teaching. As a lifelong in-home educator, I have a natural gift for education. I love quiet walks, reading romantic novels, and spending time with my family. Family is very important to me and it shows in my classroom.
