Hello My Name Is...
Pamela Miles
I was born in Ahoskie, NC. I grew up in the big town of Jackson, NC and received my education from schools in Northampton County. I moved to Durham to earn my first degree from North Carolina Central University. After graduating I resided in Durham, NC for a few years. Then, I decided to move back to Northampton County to be closer to my parents and to become an educator in Northampton County Schools.
I joined Northampton County Schools in 1996 as a second grade teacher. Over the years I have served on several committees and in many roles. I enjoy working with my colleagues and students at school and across the district. Currently, I am the Instructional Coach and Wolfpack Works Interventionist for Gaston Elementary School. I love my job and look forward to continuing to change "the lives of children." - #NorthamptonStrong
I am married to Clarence Miles. I have two children and three grandchildren. I enjoy watching movies and cooking desserts. I am a Girl Scout troop leader and a Northampton County Relay for Life Luminaria Lead.
