Nettleton Public School staff came together at the Performing Arts Center this past Monday to prepare for open houses and the first day of school on August 15th. This meeting kicked off the start of the 2022-2023 school year by celebrating all the people it takes to make our district a success. We are thankful for everything you do for our students and their families.

Save the date! United Way of Northeast Arkansas' Stuff the Bus event is Saturday, August 6th, from 9 am to 3 pm. Support Nettleton Public Schools at this community-wide school supply drive located at Walmart on Highland. The most in-demand items will be found at the front of the store & cash donations are also accepted. We can't wait to see you there!

Was your NPS student absent or quarantined due to COVID during the 2021-22 school year? If so, you are eligible for benefits of $7.10 each calendar school day they were absent. Nettleton Public Schools will host open house events at all campuses on Tuesday, August 9th, and Thursday, August 11th. Virtual students will receive more detailed information about their open house & device pickup via email. The first day of school is Monday, August 15th. Please review the schedules below and contact your building with any additional questions.

ATTENTION NETTLETON SCHOOL PARENTS:

The state and federal guidelines require that all special education due 

process forms and records be maintained for six years after a student

leaves a special education program.  After six years, the special

education records will be destroyed as mandated by federal law.  This

notice does not apply to regular high school transcripts.

 

You have the right to review and/or take your child’s (or your) special

education records.  These records will be available at the Nettleton School

District’s Special Education Office, 2305 Promise Ln, through June 2, 

2022, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Please call 870-910-7830, ext. 5125

or 5134 to indicate that you will be picking up the records.

 

All remaining special education records of students who dropped or

graduated from Nettleton School District in 2016 will be destroyed on 

June 6, 2022.
