Nettleton Public Schools is aware of threats that been made at the Junior High and Senior High campus today. They have been investigated thoroughly by school officials and Jonesboro Police Department and they have been deemed as not credible at this time. Please be aware that student safety is always first and extra precautions are being taken to ensure this.

On Thursday, May 16th Camp Raider buses will pick students up at dismissal and they MUST BRING A LUNCH. Friday, May 27th Camp Raider will be closed for staff development.

Save the date! Touch A Truck will happen on April 23rd from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in the NEA Baptist Hospital Clinic parking lot, 4802 East Johnson Avenue. There are vehicles for children to explore, games, activities, and giveaways! Admission is $5 per individual, $20 per family of 5 or more, and children under 2 are free. The proceeds will benefit HopeCircle, a cancer support center. Nettleton Public Schools puts the safety of our students and staff as a top priority. Due to the severe weather expected for this afternoon, all campuses will be dismissed early. Parents may pick up their children at any time. Car riders and student drivers will be dismissed at 1:00 pm. Bus routes will begin at approximately 1:30 pm. Camp Raider and all other after-school activities are canceled today as well.

At Nettleton, we know that every child is different. We know that they have other interests and passions, they learn differently, and one size does not fit all. So we offer the choice of three intermediate schools; Fox Meadow School of Creative Media, STEAM, and University Heights School of Medical Arts. Families of 2nd Graders are invited to join us at each campus tonight from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for their Open Houses to explore more of what we have to offer.

Attention NPS Families, this afternoon, there is a chance of unfavorable weather moving into the area close to dismissal times. Therefore, there is the possibility we will hold buses depending on the weather's arrival time. Parents/Guardians are welcome to pick their students up early today, and high school students who drive will be dismissed at 1:30 pm today.
