Canvas: Creating a Parent / Observer Account , Generating a Pairing Code, and Pairing a Student with an Observer.

This document will walk you through the steps to:

1. Create a Parent Account so that you can have access to courses in which your student is enrolled.

2. Generate a Pairing Code from your child's account.

3. Pairing the Parent / Observer with the child using the Pairing Code.

4. Pairing a second child to the Parent / Observer account.

Why would you want to do this?

1. You will be able to know what your student's assignments are and when they are due.

2. You will be able to get updates from the teacher as soon as they are posted.
