Welcome! My name is Miss V. This is my fourth year teaching 2nd grade at Picnic Point Elementary. I was born in Vancouver, Canada (dual-citizenship), but moved to Washington at an early age. I graduated from the University of Washington in 2014 with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology, went back for a fifth year for my post-bachelor's in K-8 teaching certification. Last year, I completed my Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction through WGU. What can I say, I love school! I just bought a house in Lynnwood this year (yay!) Outside of the classroom & teaching, I am the oldest sibling to a younger sister, Miss Lili (who teaches 4th grade at PP) & a younger brother. I love dancing, singing, playing the piano, going on vacations & staying active. I also teach group-fitness classes a few times a week after school at two local studios in Mill Creek & Bothell. My goal always is to teach kids to be kind, compassionate, hardworking students and leaders :)
