Hello! My name is Brad Lakey and I'm in my second year here at Explorer Middle School. I teach level 2 English Learners in 7th and 8th grade. I am also the advisor for Explorer's ¡La Chispa! club.

I'm originally from the Seattle area, but have lived in many places all over the world. I served in the Marine Corps for 6 years as a Reconnaissance Marine. I recieved both my Bachelors in Global Studies and my Masters in Education from the University of Washington Bothell. I love to travel, spend time with nature, find great new places to eat, and watch Husky Football.

I love teaching here at Explorer Middle School, and look forward to doing whatever I can to support the learning and growth of our students.
