Ms. Sydney Lyn Howard is so excited to begin her 12th year teaching at Cherokee Bend! She is a graduate of the University of Alabama (Roll Tide) with her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education/ Special Education. She started her teaching career at Oak Mountain Elementary School where she taught 3rd grade. During this time she continued her educational journey receiving her Masters degree from UAB. She received National Board Certification in 2018. Ms. Howard loves to read and take walks with her pup Bo.
