Katie Harrison is so excited to return to Cherokee Bend but this time as a teacher! Miss Harrison is a proud graduate of Cherokee Bend and Mountain Brook High School. She attended the University of Mississippi for undergraduate and graduate school. Her undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education with a concentration in Health and Wellness and Mild/Moderate Special Education. Her graduate degree is in Curriculum and Instruction. She taught 1st Grade for 3 years at another district in Birmingham. Miss Harrison's classroom is encouraging and engaging, and students will learn to interact with each other socially and academically, as well as develop a love for learning. 

When Miss Harrison is not at school, she loves spending time with her family and friends. Miss Harrison loves cooking, going on walks, playing tennis, and is very involved with her church. She also loves traveling with her family and friends!

Miss Harrison is looking forward to meeting her new students and feels so thankful to get to come alongside families as they start their journey at Cherokee Bend!
