The Cherokee Bend PTO has been overwhelmed with the response to requests for students' grandparents or other special friends to get involved with the school. The Grand Chiefs provide monetary support as well as in-classroom (or virtual) reading to the children. 

The Grand Chiefs reading sponsorship funds a new book for the school library and includes a nameplate from the Grand Chief to the student. Books will be read in the classroom by Grand Chiefs, who have helped raised over $15,000 for Cherokee Bend. 

That money will go toward expanding classroom and school libraries, technology enhancements, classroom refurbishments, and teacher training. The Cherokee Bend PTO is so grateful to have so many grandparents willing to be involved and support the school!
