Hi!  My name is Jennifer Friday and I am so excited to be teaching first grade this year at Cherokee Bend.  This will be my eighth year at CBS.  For the past seven years, I have had the privilege of working in Special Education, as well as in general education as an aide.  I attended Samford University where I earned my undergraduate degree in Early and Elementary Education.  After graduation, I earned my Montessori Certification for Early Childhood.  I taught in both Birmingham and Atlanta until I made the decision to take a break from teaching to spend time with my family.  I am so excited for this next year and getting to know each one of you.  It is going to be a wonderful year!
