Meet Mrs. Anderson

Hi! My name is Kelly Anderson. I love CBS and I am thrilled to be going into my 4th year here! We are going to have a fantastic year! I am so excited about meeting all of you. Until then, here is a little bit about me. I grew up in Troy, Alabama. After high school graduation, I went to Auburn University where I received both my Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught kindergarten and first grade for 6 years, before taking a break to spend time with my own children. My husband's name is Brett and my kids are Mary Allison, Ellen, and Gray. My oldest, Mary Allison, is a proud graduate of Mountain Brook High School, and she will be a junior at Auburn University. Ellen is in the 11th grade at Mountain Brook High School, and Gray is starting 5th grade here at CBS. We also have a golden retriever named Levi. A few of my hobbies are reading, swimming, exercising, and crafting. I love to watch my kids play sports and enjoy hanging out with my family as well. The beach is my favorite vacation spot! I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and I look forward to another great year here at Cherokee Bend!
