Mrs. Allyson Martin
Mrs. Allyson Rose Martin is the academic interventionist at Mountain Brook Elementary serving kindergarten through sixth grade. She has been in education for over 10 years. During those years, Mrs. Martin has served as a special education paraprofessional, Title I Reading Coach, and 2nd grade teacher.
Mrs. Martin holds an Elementary Education degree as well as a Masters in Collaborative Teaching - Special Education from Auburn University. In addition to being the schoolsโ academic interventionist, she serves on the Student Support Team and is the building English Language coordinator. Allyson also enjoys hosting mentee groups and collaborating with classroom teachers to support the implementation of tiered interventions.
Mrs. Martin comes from a pedigree of dedicated educators that have inspired her to pursue a career in education. Also, Mrs. Cummings, her 3rd grade teacher, instilled in Allyson a passion for reading and learning, that she strives to pass on to her students. Mrs. Martin wants every student to be successful and confident!
