    Teachers will promote student voice through student-centered learning and goal-directed teaching as measured by students attaining grade level benchmarks or growth on common performance-based writing assessments with progress evidenced in Seesaw.

    CULTURE

    100% of MBE classes will participate daily in restructured and refined Morning Meetings involving comprehensive leadership and community-building activities that address 7 Habits, digital citizenship, social/emotional learning, anti-bullying, conflict resolution, and goal-setting/tracking with an emphasis on promoting student voice.

    PERSONAL 

    By May 2018, 100% of certified teachers will demonstrate a behavior of continuous improvement as measured by participation in a Student Voice, Tiered Instruction, Math, ELA, or Technology Cohort.

     

    ACADEMICS

    By May 2018, 85% of students in grades K-6 will self-select and attain an individual writing goal.

     

    LEADERSHIP

    By May 2018, 100% of certified teachers will demonstrate a behavior of leadership as measured by participation in a self-selected Action Team.

    LIFE SKILLS

    BY MAY 85% OF STUDENTS IN K-6 WILL PARTICIPATE IN FIVE LESSONS ABOUT BULLYING AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION. STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO NAME FIVE STRATEGIES TO ADDRESS BULLYING AS A VICTIM OR BYSTANDER.

     

    ACADEMICS

    BY MAY 80% OF STUDENTS IN K-6 WILL MAKE A YEAR’S WORTH OF GROWTH OR REACH GRADE-LEVEL BENCHMARK AS MEASURED BY INDIVIDUAL MATHEMATIC ASSESSMENTS.

     

    CULTURE

    BY MAY THERE WILL BE QUARTERLY GRADE-LEVEL CELEBRATIONS, SEMESTER SCHOOL-WIDE CELEBRATIONS, AND AN ANNUAL LEADERSHIP DAY.
