Hello! My name is Mrs. Tracey Powell and I am one of two dyslexic teachers here.

I have a husband, 2 daughters, and a Westie named Kit. We have lived here for 17 years and I have been teaching at the Middle School for 7 of those years.

I've always LOVED teaching reading, which led me to get my Masters in Reading and my additional Wilson Reading System Level I certification. If you are identified dyslexic in Middle School, you are eligible for dyslexic services and may take an elective with me in a small class. We use the Wilson books and concentrate on decoding and spelling.
