Wednesday, August 23 & Thursday, August 24, 2023 - Orientation of ALL New to District Staff
All NEW to Ludlow staff, regardless of certification, are expected to attend this 2 Day Orientation to our district. We will be meeting at Paul R. Baird Middle School, 1 Rooney Road from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. on both days in the school's library. Agendas provide an overview of what to expect but are subject to change.
What to expect from Induction and Mentorship:
While all paths are different, in general all educators with an Initial MA DESE license who have not successfully completed Induction & Mentorship in another Massachusetts district are required to participate in this 2 Year Program.
In Induction - Year 1, all participants need to amass a minimum on 50 hours and 3 observations.
Mentorship - Year 2, all participants need to amass an additional 50 hours and 3 observations beyond Year 1. A log reflecting the hours must be maintained and submitted as outlined in the program.
