My name is Peggy Porter. I was lucky enough to grow up on a farm in beautiful Cub River, Idaho. Cub River Canyon is my favorite place to go camping and 4-wheeling. I graduated from Utah State and I still love watching USU sports, especially basketball and football. Go Aggies! I live in Smithfield with 2 beagles and 1 cat. Dash is the twelve-year-old, sweet, calm dog and Auggie is the adorably naughty 20-month old puppy. One of my favorite things to do is go on long walks with my dogs. I never thought I was much of a cat person until Katniss adopted me. She changed my mind about cats. This is my thirty-fourth year teaching first grade. Teaching first grade is so rewarding because the kids grow so much in one year - physically, academically, and socially. Also, they say and do such funny things. It makes each day a new adventure. After a day at school, my day is complete if I can have a Dr. Pepper, Doves dark chocolate, and an hour of television.

My name is Terra Stanko, and I have been teaching at Greenville for 6 years now...I love teaching at this awesome school!  I absolutely love children, and I love teaching 1st Grade!  However, I feel like I learn more every day from my first-graders than I teach them.  There is never a dull moment in 1st grade--first graders always do and say the funniest things!  I love watching them grow and learn so much during their year in 1st grade! 

I have four amazing children--3 daughters and 1 son.  My two oldest daughters, Lauren and Whitney, are both married.  Lauren and her husband have an adorable baby girl, and Whitney and her husband have a handsome baby boy!  I absolutely LOVE being a GRANDMA! My son, Braden, is 20 and will be leaving on a mission to Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, in May. And my daughter, Ella, is an 8th grader at Springcreek Middle School.   

I especially love to spend time with my family, and I really enjoy time outdoors hiking, kayaking, and riding bikes. I also love to read, play the piano, watch movies, and be up in the mountains, near lakes and rivers, or on the Oregon Coast!  Some of my favorite foods/treats are Costa Vida, Jelly Belly jelly beans, chocolate, and mexican food
