Super Supporters of Education
  • As a district, we are so lucky and thankful to have an incredibly supportive community. There are many, many people who contribute time, effort, and even financial donations, to benefit our students, staff, and schools. These individuals are parents, extended relatives, local leaders, business owners, and Cache Valley residents who recognize the importance of education and its impact on children, as well as on a community's quality of life. They can be found volunteering in our classrooms, participating in their school's PTA, attending board meetings, giving generously to the Cache Education Foundation, or attending school activities, performances, or sporting events. To all who support us in our work and passion of educating children, we express sincere gratitude.

This year, Superintendent Norton would like to acknowledge a handful of citizens who he considers "Super Supporters of Education." They are individuals who have gone above and beyond to support Cache County School District in its mission to educate and enrich the lives of children. Please join us in celebrating and honoring these amazing men and women.

    Regan Wheeler

When Regan Wheeler’s beloved wife, Jonette, passed, he wanted to find a way to honor and memorialize her. Jonette, who was a media technology specialist at Lewiston Elementary School for 26 years, loved books and learning. So, it was an easy decision for Regan to create the Just My Wish Foundation, which supports literacy and gifted and talented education programs for elementary-aged children. Nearly eleven years after its creation, the Just My Wish Foundation has donated over $150,000 to support learning in Cache County schools.
