Principal Topics
- Plan for Graduation a survey was sent out to parents and students, the consensus was to hold Graduation on the LHS football field with restrictions on number of guests allowed for each student.
- Graduation will be held on Thursday, May 27th , weather permitting, Friday, May 29th as a make up day.
Questions/Concerns from Council Members:
- Will student chromebooks be an ongoing cost for Trustlands funds?
- Yes, the District has allotted some funds for the LHS student One to One program, Trustlands will be making up the difference.
- Is the One to One the best use of funds/are students benefitting from it?
- Yes, data gathered supports this, in 2021, it is crucial that students are given the technology to help prepare them for life, schooling and careers after they graduate.
- Are online resources less expensive than physical textbooks?
- It is probably even, but students again benefit from the online technology for the future.
