REPORT ON DISTRICT PARENT MEETING (4/20)

  • Happy the meeting happened. Hoping there is follow-through.Hard to hear - maybe have different classrooms/ venues so you can hear better.
  • Ideas need to be combined.
  • The discussion wasn’t portrayed in the bullet points in some teams.
  • The parents didn’t like how they ranked it.
  • Small groups were helpful and allowed more people to participate.
  • Overall it was good.
  • Everyone is interested in what the outcome will be.
  • Good representation of our community - different families represented

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION #’S

  • Up to 40. Expected to have 8 to 10 more when the university comes back in session in the spring.

BEVERLY TAYLOR

  • We are sponsored so we get her all year in the afternoon.
  • Staci Rice will be teaching Dance.

WELLNESS POLICY

  • Snacks and P.E. are all covered per the policy.

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT TIMELINE

  • Board will approve it tonight.

  • We have applied and will find out in the Spring
