I currently teach sixth grade social studies and writing at Hartselle Intermediate School.  Before coming to H.I.S. I taught 3rd grade at F.E. Burleson for 6 years.  I am a graduate of Hartselle High School, Athens State University and the University of West Alabama.  

In 2013 I married Nick Tankersley. We have two children, Olivia and Turner. 

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, shopping, going to the beach, and spending time with my family.
