Education

I am a 1987 graduate of Hartselle High School.  I attended the University of Alabama and majored in secondary education mathematics.  After graduation I taught math for three years while working on my Masters Degree in Library Science from the University of Alabama. I received my National Board certification in school library work in 2008. I have an EdS in Teacher Leadership from the University of Montevallo. 

Experience

I have been teaching in Alabama since 1991.  I have spent most of my career as a school librarian. This year I begin a new role as HIS Instructional Partner.

Bio

I have lived in Hartselle since I was in 10th grade.  My husband, Cooper, and I settled here after college and have raised our family here.  We have three adult children. Joshua and his wife live in Missouri. Jeremiah is at UTChattanooga working on his Masters and our daughter, Jenni Cate attends Maryville College.
