Mr. Anthony De La Rosa

Math Instructor

 

 

Mr. De La Rosa is in his 11th year at Wilson Middle School.  He taught mathematics at the high school level for twelve years.  Mr. De La Rosa also has over fifteen years of high school basketball experience (three at the varsity level) prior to helping Wilson achieve an undefeated season seven years ago in boys basketball.  He is looking forward to a great year teaching three Math 8 Classes, and two Integrated I classes. 

 

Mr. De La Rosa is a graduate of California Polytechnic University, Pomona; where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies 2001.  He continued his education at Mt. St. Mary's College in Los Angeles, where he received his Master's Degree in Education in 2004, as well as his Single Subject Credential (Foundation Level Mathematics).  He recently completed his Preliminary Administrative Services Credential at Azusa Pacific University.

 

Mr. De La Rosa married his high school sweetheart Cynthia in 2002. They have been happily married residing in the city of Covina and are celebrating their daughter, Mia Elaine's ninth birthday, this September.
