A Message from our School Nurse, Mrs. Cox:
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I'm looking forward to getting our students back into the classroom. With the new guidelines we have to follow, we are expected to take our children's temperature every morning before they attend school.
I have signed our school up to be part of the Kinsa Smart Thermometer Program. This program will provide a free thermometer to every family in our district.
There is more information on Kinsa on our GCCS website:
https://www.gilboa-conesville.k12.ny.us/o/gccs/page/health-office--57
Please click the link to go to our GCCS Health page where you will find information on how to order, sign up, and work within the Kinsa app.
Please note that the thermometers will be sent to the school, after which I will send them home with your child.
If you have any questions please feel free to call or email me at acox@gccs.us or 607-588-7541 option 3.

Good Morning GCCS Families,
This morning, we had our first successful lockdown drill of the year, and our faculty and staff did an excellent job following the GCCS lockdown safety protocol. A lockdown describes security measures taken to protect against potential intruders that may threaten the safety of our students, faculty and staff.
School administrators, staff, students, and parents, all have roles and responsibilities to support and implement the lockdown drill protocol to help prevent the risk of harm to anyone in the building should a violent or serious incident occur.
We thank all of you for your continued cooperation.
