Reminder: Our next Wildcat Wonders assembly will be held on Friday, February 2nd at 9:00 am in our auditorium. This month we will be recognizing students who display Empathy. We will also have a short presentation by our Pre-K and Kindergarten classes. Students should plan to wear purple and gold. All community members are invited to attend.

Attention High School Students!! A new course is arriving in the second semester! The podcasting industry is booming. Statistics show that there are millions of podcasts published every year. In this course, students will look at the history of podcasts and the process by which a podcast is created. As students progress through the course, they will work on producing their own podcasts. If you are interested in podcasting, this course may be for you! Please sign up in the Guidance Office as soon as you are able.

The Class of 2028 is hosting an Alumni Basketball game fundraising event on Friday, February 16th at 6 p.m. in the GCCS gymnasium. The entrance fee will be by donation, we will have concessions available for purchase, and you can register and pre-order a t-shirt for $20 ($25 at the event). The Gilboa/Windham Varsity Girls defeated Margaretville Wednesday night 40-22! Hannah Tuttle scored a game-high 16 points. Ashtyn Hansen contributed 12 points and Caitlyn Ciaravino ended the night with 11 points! Great job to all of the girls! Keep up the hard work!

Reminder: Dear Parents/Guardians: The purpose of this notice is to share information about upcoming midterm exams, final exams for half-year courses, and Regents exams. Teachers have scheduled midterms and final exams during regular class periods from January 17 through January 26. Students not taking Regents exams will follow their regular schedule. Please note that events such as school closures due to inclement weather may change the date of your child’s midterm or final exams.
