Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) Team
The Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) Team was founded by the Health and Wellness department in 2018 to meet the district's goal of promoting academic achievement and social and emotional growth for all students through the provision of structured consultation services to school staff.
This is an internal team that works directly with school administrators, educators, and support personnel to better address student needs and support students experiencing social-emotional and behavioral crisis.
The SEMH team is staffed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a Registered Behavior Technician/Student Support Specialist, a Clinical Care Specialist/School Social Worker, and a behavioral Stabilization Coach. Clinical supervision and oversight is provided by our District Behavioral Health Clinical Coordinator and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Stephanie Glenn.
