ParentSquare

As a parent, you will be automatically enrolled, and receive communication from ParentSquare.

In additions to communication from your Student's teachers and schools, your ParentSquare account also provides you with emergency alerts. These alerts will be used to communicate weather delays, school closures or other emergency situations.

 

• STEP ONE: Register in ParentSquare:

1. Go to the web address https://www.parentsquare.com/signin
2. Enter your Email or Phone Number you provided to the District through Skyward.
3. Click Get Started.

 

• STEP TWO: Download the ParentSquare App (Optional):

Use the camera on your phone to scan these QR codes - it takes you directly to the App or Google Play store.

Register using the ParentSquare App:

1. Open the ParentSquare App.
2. Enter your Email or Phone Number you provided to the District through Skyward.
3. Tap Continue

 

4.  Enter the registration code sent by Email or Text and tap Continue.

 

5.  Create your password and confirm your password

As a student at EMS or EHS, you will be automatically enrolled, and receive communication from each of your teachers that use StudentSquare.

All communication will be sent to your @ephrataschools.org email address or through the StudentSquare App if downloaded. You may also choose to receive text messages from your teacher or school by adding your phone number to your StudentSquare account. You can respond directly to these messages to talk back and forth with your teacher, if your teacher allows this for their class.

• STEP ONE: Log in to StudentSquare:

1. Go to the web address https://www.mystudentsquare.com/signin
2. Click on Sign In with Google and enter your School Password.
3. Click Sign In.

Register on the Mobile App (iPhone or Android):

1. Open the StudentSquare app.
2. Click on Sign In with Google and enter your @ephrataschools.org email and Password.
3. Tap Sign In.

In the app, use the bottom options to navigate through Posts, Messages, Alerts and Notices, and other content shared at your school.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

• STEP TWO: Set your Notification Preferences:

If you are receiving too many notifications from StudentSquare we suggest you update your account settings. 

• The Instant setting will send all post notifications in real-time.
• The Digest setting sends direct messages, alerts, and time-sensitive posts instantly, but sends all non-time sensitive posts at the end of the day, reducing the number of notifications you receive daily. 
• ALL Students will receive Emergency Notifications regardless of your notification settings.

To change your notification settings in a web browser:

1. Click your name in the top menu bar and select Manage Account. 

 

To change your notification settings in the StudentSquare App:

1. In the app, select Account and then Notifications. 
2. Use the slider to turn on/off by modality (email, text or app). If turned on, select whether you prefer the instant or digest notification.

As an employee of the Ephrata School District, you’ve been signed up to receive important school district and/or school communication in ParentSquare.

Your ParentSquare account also provides you with emergency alerts. These alerts will be used to communicate weather delays, school closures or other emergency situations.

We will use the communication method you’ve shared with the District (email and/or phone) in your Skyward Employee Access Account.

Please go HERE for instructions and information on using you District ParentSquare account.

To verify Ephrata Schools has your current contact information:

1. Log into Skyward Family Access
2. Click on "My Account" in the top, right corner

   

3. Verify that the “Primary” phone number listed is your current cell phone number and update if necessary.

   

4. Once your phone number is updated, click "Save." 

 

Please make sure to keep your information up-to-date and set your preferred language to ensure you receive the latest communication in the language you read.

 

To verify your notification settings are accurate in ParentSquare

1. Log into ParentSquare.com or use the ParentSquare App by entering your phone number and password. If you are unsure of your password, just hit the “forgot password” button and follow the steps to create a new login.
2. Follow these simple steps to check your notification settings.

Like any text message, you have the right to stop receiving messages any time. You can simply text STOP to any message received.

Please keep in mind that in the event of an emergency, these preferences will be overridden to ensure you’re kept up-to-date on any safety or security issue.

NOTE: If you delete your primary phone number in ParentSquare, you may still receive messages. Our system links to Skyward and is refreshed each evening, which means your deleted phone number will be restored to Skyward. If you no longer want to receive notifications, please change your notification settings using the instructions in Step 1 above.

1. Check your spam folder for emails from donotreply@parentsquare.com.
2. Add the domain ParentSquare.com or the email address donotreply@parentsquare.com to the safe senders list in your email client (Gmail, Yahoo, aol, etc.) You can search online how to do this. If using Gmail:
   • Go to Settings.
   • At the bottom of the pane, click Mail.
   • In the left pane, select Mail > Accounts > Block or allow.
   • Under Blocked Senders, select the address or domain you want to unblock, and then select.
3. Text the word START to 66458. This will resume text messaging to your phone.
