FREE AND REDUCED MEAL APPLICATIONS

Important Notes:
- A new application is required each school year.
- Households may apply for benefits at any time during the school year.
- Household members do not have to be U.S. citizens for children to qualify for free or reduced-price meals and/or completing the form has no impact on immigration status.
- Family income surveys and meal applications are used to determine federal nutrition assistance and education funding for Ellensburg School District. It is critical that parents return applications so we can count all eligible students.
FCC Affordable Connectivity Program
The Federal Communications Commission Affordable Connectivity Program has replaced the Emergency Broadband Benefit. This program provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet for eligible households and up to $75 per month for homes on qualifying Tribal lands. Details: https://www.fcc.gov/acp
All households with a child who was approved to receive free or reduced price meals under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or the School Breakfast Program (SBP) within the last 12 months, including children who attend schools participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), are eligible for ACP benefits.
Here are the steps to enrolling in the Affordable Connectivity Program:
1. Go to AffordableConnectivity.gov to submit an application or print out a mail-in application.
2. Contact your preferred participating provider to select an eligible plan & have the discount applied to your bill.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
