New District Cell Phone Policy for the 2022-2023 School Year
"Students must turn off cell phones/electronic devices and place them in their assigned locker before reporting to 1st period each morning. Students will not be permitted to access cell phones/electronic devices again until the last bell of the school day unless directed by school staff. This includes use in restrooms, hallways, lockers, etc."
This policy was developed by MS principals and sealed with Dr. Phipps' approval.
** This means that you will need to get a lock for your locker to keep your cell phone secure. It also means that you should never give your locker combination to anyone (even your best friend). If your cell phone is stolen, we will ask you three questions:
1. "Did you have a lock on your locker?"
2. "Was your lock actually locked?"
3. "Who else knows your combination?"
