Hello, my name is Crystal Walker. I started my teaching career with the Caldwell County School System in 2005.  I have taught grades K-4 throughout my years of teaching.  I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2005 with an Elementary Education degree.  I also graduated from App State with a Master's in Reading Education in 2014.

I am married with two children, and have two grandchildren.  My daughter will be attending William Lenoir this year.  I have a dog named Belle.  I love to read and spend time with my family.

I am very excited to join the Lower Creek Cougar family and to start a new year!
