Grades K-5 learn the basic rudiments of music through singing, playing basic percussion instruments, movement and experience based activities.  Grade 5 learns to play recorder and guitar during the year.  Beginner band is for 6th grade and they perform in the Spring of each year.  The Advanced Band performs 4 times each year and individuals have opportunities to participate in Honor Bands throughout the year.
