  We are accepting substitute applications from individuals that have one or more of the following paraprofessional requirements: Have completed a high school diploma.

         Must be at least 18 years old (with limited placement) or older.

You will need to complete an application in Applicant Tracking.  Please make sure you apply for the "Substitute Teacher" position.  

You also must attend a substitute workshop provided by Caldwell County Schools before you are able to substitute.  This workshop is offered several times a year. 

Before the workshop date, you will receive emails that include instructions to begin the onboarding process. The emails will contain PDF's with links to complete the Background screening as well as Drug and Health Screenings. The cost of these screenings is the responsibility of the applicant. The email will also contain electronic forms that must be completed before you can substitute Teach. Please read all forms carefully, especially the information on Background, Drug and Health Screenings that you must complete.
