As a teacher here at Hudson Middle School, I am excited about meeting each and every one of you!  I love math and science and have spent 27 years teaching students in a variety of settings and grade levels.  The variety has allowed me to meet some terrific people and involve my students in some fabulous learning opportunities.  I enjoy working with kids of all ages and devote a portion of my summer to running a summer camp.

I obtained my degrees in undergraduate degree in elementary education and my master's in middle grades math and science from Appalachian State University and a degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.

I live with my husband on a farm in Newton and we spend our spare time taking care of our chickens, geese, ducks, guineas, goats and horses.   We have spent the better part of our 15 years here renovating our barn/home.
