I hope you are enjoying having your child in my classroom. I would like to tell you more about myself.  I have been married to my husband, Brad, for 24 years and we live in Hickory.   I have a daughter, Mackenzie, who is a freshman at UNC Chapel Hill.  My  son, Charlie, is a senior in high school and enjoys many sports. I have a bachelor and masters degree from UNC Charlotte and have taught for 22 years. I feel teaching children with special needs is my true calling and my passion. I believe all children can succeed in life when given the right tools and supports.
