About Me:
 
I am a native of West Palm Beach, Florida, however, I have lived most of my life in North Carolina.  I grew up in Sherrills Ford and graduated from Bandys High School in Catawba County.  I earned my Bachelors degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Science and Social Studies.
 
I believe teachers are the best role-models for young people.  Students have the potential to do great things.  I  became a teacher to help students value learning and understand how an education can help change their lives.  I enjoy activities such as hiking, bowling, music shows/concerts, and learning about agricutlure.
