Mrs. Berquist has lived and taught in Caldwell County for 18 years.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory and Henry College in 1992.  Her certification includes elementary and middle school endorsements as well as Intellectually and Academically Gifted licensure.  In 2006, she completed a master's degree progam in Instructional Technology from Appalachian State University and recentally renewed her National Board Teacher certification.  Her hobbies include hiking, swimming, biking, gardening, reading, and spending time with family.  Mrs. Berquist enjoys working with and supporting her students to help them reach their full potenial.
