I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, but have lived in Caldwell County most of my life. I attended Appalachian State University where I earned a degree in Psychology. I earned my Master’s Degree from Western Carolina University in School Administration. I started my administrative career as Assistant Principal at Fred T. Foard High School in Catawba County for 2 years before becoming the principal at Hudson Elementary School for 5 years. I am now in my 5th year as the principal at Happy Valley School, which has been a blessing!  I have two wonderful children, Grant and Madi, and recently became married to a beautiful and special woman, Jessy.   Always feel free to come see me anytime, my door is always open to this great community!
