Christy Stowe

My name is Christy Stowe, and this is my 21st year as a school psychologist of which 16 years of those haver been in Cabarrus County Schools serving elementary, middle, and high schools. As a school psychologist, I provide support to students, school staff, and families through consultation and collaboration highlighting student’s individual strengths to develop appropriate student specific goals and interventions. I work closely with the student services teams at both my schools, which includes school counselors and school social workers to provide individual and small group instructional support focusing on social and emotional learning. In addition to supporting all students’ academic, behavioral, emotional, and social development, I consult with Exceptional Children’s teachers and related service staff to ensure we are meeting the needs of all students with disabilities. I am a Cabarrus County native and graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School. I reside in Cabarrus County with my husband, and two children, a 17 year old son and a 8 year old daughter.
