I am excited to join the Leopard family here at Winecoff Elementary as your Principal!

This is my first year in Cabarrus County Schools, but the beginning of my 23rd year in education. Winecoff has attained many successes over the years and I am excited to embark on this journey of continued accomplishments.

My skills and experiences through my career path have included bilingual/dual language instruction, district curriculum writing, standard setting for academic state testing, data studies, and EdTech implementation. I have worked at the public and charter school level as an instructor, Assistant Principal, and Principal.

My husband and I live in Charlotte, NC, but we love escapes to the mountains as well as the beach! I was born in Greenville, TX and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. In my spare time, I love watching my Dallas Cowboys, spending time with my family, traveling, and singing.
