The SAT is a national standardized test used by many 4-year colleges and Universities to aid them in determining college admission. The test covers Critical Reading, Math and Writing. Students should arrange to take the SAT beginning in the Junior year, typically after they are completing Math 3. Check with your college's admissions website (or see www.collegedata.com) to see what an average SAT score looks like for those getting admitted.
Cost of the SAT w/essay is $68 (Fee Waivers are available from Counselors for those eligible students).
