Curriculum Updates

In reading, we have started informational books about arctic animals.  We will start learning about polar bears and move into other animals that live in arctic areas.  When learning, we are using both fiction and nonfiction books to help us explore learning using multiple genres.  We will extend our reading in STEM, math, and science as well.  

In math, we have started our 4th unit on shapes.  We will learn about both 2D and 3D shapes.  Ask your child what shapes they have learned about in the classroom and what shapes they might see around your house!
