Salutations from 5th Grade!  The year is going to be full of new and exciting times!  There are plenty of activities, projects and events planned for the 2021-2022 school year.  

 

Who am I?!?!  

I was born and raised in Upstate New York.  After High School, I attended Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.  Here I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading.  After graduating in 2000, I took a leap of faith and moved to the Charlotte area.  I acquired a job in Pageland, SC teaching 2nd Grade.  After my second year in Pageland, I relocated to Concord.  I began my career with Cabarrus County Schools teaching 3rd grade at Rocky River Elementary School. 

 

After my second child was born, I decided that staying at home to raise my children was what I needed and wanted to do.  

After spending five years at home raising my children, I was ready to head back to School!!

I had missed the teaching profession for it is my true passion in life.

I taught 5th Grade at

Beverly Hills STEM Elementary for 5 years.

After that, I taught 5th grade at Coltrane-Webb. 

This will be my 4th year at Winecoff Elementary.

I am excited to be part of such a

wonderful and family oriented school.
