My name is Elizabeth Rodgers.  I am a Kannapolis native and this is my 13th year of teaching and my 6th year at Winecoff Elementary.  I am a graduate of Appalachian State University with a bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.  I'm married to my high school sweetheart, Travis and we have two beautiful boys named Mason (8 years) and Brooks (3 years ).  We also have a miniature dachsund named Rosie and she is the queen of our castle.  In my spare time, I love to sing, spend time and travel with my family.  I also love shopping, hanging out with my friends and watching funny tv shows & movies. (I'm a huge fan of "The Office.")

     I absolutely love 4th grade. (the age, the curriculum, and the relationships I get to build with these young people) I am so passionate about helping them not only to grow academically, but learn compassion and social skills that will help them to grow as people.  I have an open door policy and welcome parents to take an active role in their child's learning.
