Mrs. Amy Shoe
Welcome to Sixth Grade at Concord Middle School!
Mrs. Shoe is excited to work with you this year as you begin your journey in middle school. She was born in Cabarrus County and is a proud product of our school system. She is currently in her twenty-sixth year of teaching in Cabarrus County and her sixth year at Concord Middle. Prior to coming to CMS, she taught for twenty years at Beverly Hills Elementary (third and fifth grades). She has been married for twenty-five years and has two children, a daughter (21) and a son (17). Her family enjoys spending time at the beach, playing with their puppy (Pearl), and bowling.

Announcements for April 3-7, 2023
1. We are now in Quarter 4 (March 28-June 8) - Please encourage your child to continue giving his/her best in all the work he/she does.
2. Students will continue Unit 9: Understanding Algebraic Equations. This week we will focus on independent and dependent variables. We are also going over the questions from Benchmark #3. Also, each child is required to pass at least two iReady lessons this week. This is a graded assignment.
3. Please continute to encourage your child to retake any quizzes he/she didn't do well the first time.
4. The AgriBusiness Field Trip is Thursday, April 6. All Cabarrus County Schools sixth graders are expected to attend this trip. If you haven't returned the permission slip and $7.00, please do so ASAP.
5. Sea Life Permission Slips and Payment are due Thursday, April 6. Only students who return a permission slip and make full payment of $25.00 will be able to attend this trip.
6. Spring Break is April 7-16.
