Welcome to my website! This will be my third year at Carl A Furr Elementary and I am super excited for all the great things this school year will bring to our Furr Family! I have been a School Counselor since 2006 and will be serving Kindergarten, Second and Fourth grade students this year. I earned a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a master’s degree in counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I utilize person-centered play therapy and solution-focused techniques when working with individual students and small groups.
