    The Harold E. Winkler Middle IB School National Junior Beta Club's mission is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among secondary school students, with the four pillars as follows:

    ACHIEVEMENT - Recognizing and honoring high academic achievement
    CHARACTER - Preparing young people for life and empowering them to be successful
    LEADERSHIP - Developing the leaders of tomorrow
    SERVICE - Demonstrating our motto: Let Us Lead by Serving Others

    Students must have A / AB honor roll all year in order to be eligible. Sixth graders are not eligible until the fourth quarter of this school year.

    What is the average time commitment for a member of your organization?

    The service hour requirements during the school year is ten hours. We meet twice a month (one morning meeting at 8:00 - 8:45 and on Club day each month).

    Will your organization host meetings/events in-person, virtually, or hybrid?

    We will host meetings in person, and there will be events that are in-person service opportunities.
