My name is Emberly Carter. I graduated from Fayetteville State University with my Bachelors in Middle Grades Education & graduated with my Masters in Elementary Education from UNC Pembroke. This year will be my twelfth year teaching. I previously taught in Cumberland County for seven years and have taught here in Cabarrus County the past four years. I am a mom of four phenomenal children (Kiana, Summer, Josiah & Trevor). I love watching movies based on books, playing the Lego adventure video games, and attending live events and shows.  

Our theme in this ELA classroom is Legendary.  I believe that every student will exemplify star-quality skills this year.  This is our year to leave a legacy that has a positive and lasting difference.  

 I am looking forward to working together with you and your child for this to be a legendary school year!
