Welcome! My name is Maria Celano and this is my sixth year teaching! I have taught all subjects in both third and fourth grade. I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Reading Education. This is my first year at Pitts School Road. I have previously taught at R. Brown McAllister and Patriots STEM Elementary. I am incredibly excited about joining the Panther Family! 

I have lived in the Harrisburg area my entire life & was a student in Cabarrus County schools. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children when I am not at school! Some of my favorite things are Target, Disney, chocolate, sweet tea, & working on home projects.
