Student Realignment
- Update October 1st, 2021 -
On Monday May 3rd, 2021, the Cabarrus County Board of Education approved a school zone realignment plan for the 2022-2023 school year. The realignment of attendance zones was required for the anticipated opening of Roberta Road Middle School, to relieve current overcrowding, and to allow for future growth in the County.
The realignment will predominately impact middle school students; however, attendance zones for Jay M Robinson High School, Hickory Ridge High School, Concord High School, Pitts School Road Elementary School, Harrisburg Elementary School, and Patriots STEM Elementary School also have been adjusted in order to align feeder schools and plan for future growth in these areas.
Cabarrus County Schools has notified student families who are impacted in August 2022 by the realignment. The letter of notification was mailed on October 1st, 2021. In addition, families may use the Find My School interactive map tool to search by an address for current and future school assignment.
