    Hi, students and parents!

    I hope you have had an amazing summer and I am looking forward to another school year with you! We all know things have been changed in our world and society due to different circumstances. My passion for teaching my students is one thing that has not changed though! Things will be different this year as we navigate learning and growing together in a pandemic, but I am always here for you! I will be working hard to update my webpage frequently with resources, links, videos, and activities. Hi, Winecoff Families!

This will be my fifth year teaching and my third year at Winecoff! I am so excited to be on Team Winecoff in a place with wonderful students, parents, and staff. Previously, I taught my first 2 years at Boger Elementary. I live in Charlotte with my husband, Jefferson, and rambunctious cat, Willow. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, cheering on the Hornets and Charlotte 49rs (really any Charlotte sports team), going to the Whitewater center, running, hiking, swimming, reading, and learning new things! 

Teaching is my passion and I am very excited about this opportunity to get to know and grow with your students throughout the school year! One of my main goals this year is to help foster a warm and inviting classroom community where students feel supported, valued, and have ample opportunities to reach their true potential. I am eager to meet you all and looking forward to the fantastic year ahead!
